Reporting to and collaborating closely with all Directors, the Business Development Manager – Managed Services is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the business in Managed Services. With a strong focus on market penetration and client success, this role drives revenue growth and fosters long-term relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage ideal clients for advanced AV Managed Services solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and high-level executives.
- Pitch customized managed service solutions aligned with client needs.
- Develop and implement Managed Services strategy and growth plans.
- Lead Business Development initiatives and respond to tenders.
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Managed Services team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to leverage relationships and expand business opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to position and structure complex solutions in software as a service model (SaaS)
- Track record of ability to gain client attention at high levels within large organisations
- Experience in true BDM activity demonstrating skills in strategic lifetime customer development
- Skills in Solutions selling and complex sales architecture.
- High commercial acumen in the sales process
- Experience in working with high level stakeholders within ITS sector
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
- Commercial acumen and strong network of clients in Commercial, Government, and Education sectors.
- Experience in proposal writing and tender responses.
- Knowledge and experience of IT and AV convergence.
- Minimum 5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the AV & IT industries.
