We are looking for a dynamic Full Time Temporary Primary Teacher to join our welcoming and vibrant community from 15 April 2024 to 12 December 2024.  Placing students at the heart of everything we do, the successful candidate will be committed to ‘Cura Personalis’: care for the whole person in support of educational best practice.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
• An excellent knowledge and use of the Western Australian Curriculum. 
• Plan and deliver comprehensive teaching programs which include a balanced approach of Explicit Instruction and Inquiry-based Learning.
• Differentiate teaching and learning in order to challenge and engage learners.
• Use a variety of assessment and reporting strategies.
• Analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices in order to raise student levels of achievement.
• Provide comprehensive and timely feedback to parents and students.
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment.
• A high level of skill in Digital Technologies, including the iPad, and a commitment to integrating technology into the daily classroom environment and across curriculum areas.

Applicants must actively support and promote the ethos of the College and all staff members are required to have, or be prepared to obtain, necessary accreditation through Catholic Education Western Australia. A current Working with Children card/application and current TRBWA registration is mandatory.
