They are looking for teachers who are open to the challenges of responding to the diverse needs of students in an international education environment, and who have a solid understanding of child centred education approaches to meet the needs of all learners and nurture student well-being. In addition, they must be able to deal professionally with a range of stakeholders in a dynamic school community. Applicants must hold a B.Ed.
or equivalent teaching qualification at degree level and full teacher registration. Preference is for teachers with 5 years of teaching experience and experience in English-speaking school systems. A valid driving license and willingness to own a private vehicle are necessary requirements.

There is plenty to do in PNG such as scuba diving, fishing, 4 wheel driving, surfing, cultural experiences and plenty of opportunity for exploring. There are around 9 million people in PNG and over 851 languages and over 1000 cultural groups, though most people speak English so it's easy to integrate and there is a large expat population. Most expats live in safe and modern compounds.
