About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead and manage the Regional Information and Complaints team to deliver timely and effective customer complaint management for regional schools.
- Provide authoritative strategic and operational advice to regional leaders on a wide range of legislative, policy and procedural issues.
- Oversee governance processes that manage the regions enquiries and complaints in line with the Department's Customer Complaints Management policy and procedure, including reporting and records management.
- Provide authoritative advice and support to regional staff to ensure the regional office has quality systems and governance processes for the management of complaints, internal and external communications, appeals and other high level correspondence.
- Manage, on behalf of the Executive Director, the preparation of complex reports, submissions and briefs, in accordance with the Department's processes.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison, communication and collaboration processes with Queensland state schools, together with major partners and other relevant agencies and stakeholders.
