Eden Ritchie is seeking a Principal Advisor to provide support to the non-state sector on a range of issues and provide high level strategic advice and analysis about policy, programs and legislation relating to the non-state sector, and assist in administering a range of funding programs.
- 6 month contract with possible extension
- Brisbane CBD location
As the Principal Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead or participate in a range of project teams and coordinate project team work.
- Provide high level policy advice on current strategic issues, programs and legislation pertaining to the non-state sector, including the preparation of submissions, briefings and responses to official correspondence.
- Contribute to program and policy research, review, analysis and development activities relevant to the non-state sector and support for students with disability.
- Contribute to the management of capital assistance programs, including budget monitoring and accountability matters.
- Administer funding programs for community organisations, including budget monitoring and accountability matters.
- Participate in and report on the development and validation of funding models and periodic and special reviews for:
- Recurrent grants;
- Grant disbursement methodologies;
- Capital assistance programs; and
- Community organisation grant programs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key clients, contacts and organisations within the education sector, other government agencies, and external bodies.
