The Team:The Planning and Development Directorate provides leadership and support to the Planning & Development Group in an ever changing, challenging environment. Here is where major projects undertaken by the Group come together, where change is initiated, and the implementation supported. The Directorate is also the interface between officers and Councillors with regard to planning and development and economic development matters.About the Role:Join our dynamic team as the Principal Business Services & Relationships. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Branch Managers to enhance service delivery within the Planning & Development Service Group. You will drive strategic advice, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster effective relationships both internally and externally.Location: Toowoomba CBD, Queensland, AustraliaPosition Type: Permanent full-timeSalary: $109,817.33 - $123,936.67 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level strategic advice to the General Manager and Branch Managers.
• Identify and recommend Group-wide service redesign, business improvements, and innovation opportunities.
• Manage and prioritize service delivery and improvement projects aligned with corporate and Group goals.
• Oversee the budget of the Office of the General Manager, ensuring sustainable financial management.
• Develop, review, and manage contracts, procurement, and agreements as directed.
• Act as a visible point of contact for significant projects, ensuring stakeholder collaboration and milestone achievement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and quality relationships among employees.
