Your Opportunity:
As the Principal Consultant, Employee Relations, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic, client-focused human resource management services, with a particular focus on Employee Relations. Join us in building the capability of our HR partnering team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and expert human resources advice, consultancy, and case management services to Treasury leaders on a variety of workplace matters, including conduct, performance, disputes, union engagement, appeals, and organizational change.
- Act as the subject matter expert in the field of Employee Relations, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Research, prepare, and present authoritative written documentation and briefings on complex human resources/Employee Relations matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expert case management and the delivery of effective programs and approaches.
- Lead the team, developing capabilities, managing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the delivery of workforce management services and significant actions from the Strategic Workforce Plan to support Treasury clients in achieving their business objectives.
- Lead human resources projects, strategies, and initiatives aligned with Treasury's business needs to support effective HR and ER practices.
- Develop and enhance contemporary HR practices, leadership skills, and HR content knowledge.
About you:
You have a significant background in human resources with proven experience in Employee Relations. You demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills. You are a trusted advisor and take a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
You have:
- Comprehensive case management and Employee Relations experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently provide briefings on complex workplace matters.
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills, allowing collaboration across all levels of Treasury.
- The ability to contribute to strategic HR projects and the development of initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, identify emerging issues, and provide expert advice.
