The Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.
This position is part of the Data Analytics and Technology team that is passionate about using data to support the sector in understanding its workforce needs now and into the future. They acquire, store, manage, use and share data to uncover insights that help better understand the size, shape, and composition of the WA public sector workforce.
You will be joining a team which recently delivered the 2023 WA Public Sector Census, implemented a new sectorwide workforce data collection and reporting platform and are currently exploring innovative approaches for streamlining access to agency workforce data.
The innovative and agile team is now after an expert in data analytics and machine learning to generate insights for our customers.
You’ll lead our data analysis projects, deliver statistical analysis and create machine learning models to help identify trends, patterns and causal relationships.
The team values your knowledge of any contemporary programming languages to develop data processing pipelines, build data models and create amazing visualisations to turn data into insights that our customers will love.
