The purpose of the Principal Developer SAP is to undertake design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex SAP system enhancements and modifications to cost effectively meet business requirements. This role ensures that Queensland Health's integrated SAP solution is properly designed, configured, developed, documented, implemented, maintained and reviewed, in order to provide ongoing best practice and quality service to clients.
About Corporate Enterprise Solutions:
This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated extensive experience in business application development technologies, particularly application development technologies and trends in relation to the solution responsibility of this team (SAP) and the ability to apply this knowledge in a complex IT environment.
- Proven ability in the application of ABAP or Fiori programming, SAP workbench development, and integrated HR and Rostering solutions.
- Extensive experience in developing across the full stack of SAP Fiori applications with knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, UI5, ABAP, REST, and OData.
- Experience in developing and supporting employee and manager self-service applications, with a focus on UX, accessibility, data privacy, and security considerations.
- Knowledge of development tools such as SAP Web IDE, browser debuggers, and GIT.
