The Road Maintenance Program delivers services that keep our roads, drains and streetscapes in excellent order. We undertake a large range of essential maintenance services to the community, involving sealed roads, gravel roads, drains, footpaths, litter collection, linemarking and street sweeping. In delivering these services, the program has a high emphasis on culture in the workplace and safety.
As part of the Branch leadership team and a leader of operational staff, you will have significant scope to influencing change. Your leadership will be key to the performance and behaviour of your team, both individually and collectively.
Effective coordination of the road asset maintenance program will demand your technical knowledge and skills in contemporary road asset civil engineering, your ability to plan and deliver works programs, monitor expenditure/prepare budgets and your contract management experience.
Your experience in staff management and leading change will be highly regarded.
Key indicators for success:
- 'C' class drivers' licence
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with substantial road asset management experience
- RPEQ or eligibility to obtain registration
- Possession of 30215 QLD – General Safety Induction Card (White Card)
- Ability to provide satisfactory results for all employment-related background checks inclusive of (Police, Employment References, Qualifications and Working rights)
