About the JobThe Principal Engineer - Subsea & Pipelines is responsible for contributing to all aspects of engineering design to meet the technical competency expectations of Genesis and its clients. A key part of the role will be to support/deliver studies, including responsibility for the quality of deliverables. General responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Providing detailed engineering input during all design phases as required by the client, including interpretation of industry standards.

Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service to clients within budget and time constraints. Participate as Principal Engineer in multidiscipline studies for the early phases (Feasibility, Option Selection, Concept Studies) in Greenfield and Brownfield Developments. Conduct simulations and analyses, prepare reports and prepare calculations as required.

 Perform all work in accordance with the Genesis Quality Management System and within agreed time and schedule constraints. To review any design work carried out by third parties. Monitor new technology developments and ensure that where appropriate these are addressed in study execution.

Liaise with client regarding technical issues and study progress. Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders. Ensure work is executed in accordance with best practice and compliance with Genesis QA procedures The Skills and Experience

Needed to Succeed:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (essential)Proven technical experience in the upstream energy business (essential) Overall understanding of upstream facilities including subsea, onshore and offshore pipeline systems, and processing facilities
