The Role
Principal Engineer will maintain, develop, and consult on the current technology stack whilst taking into consideration Enterprise Architectural patterns and adhering to the Data Control Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively consult and manage business expectations around the Kx platform and management of priorities.
- Conduct training and skills uplift of coding practices to junior developers.
- Have an end-to-end solution overview over both the Trade Lifecycle and e-Communications domain.
- The role will be the key decision maker on the Trade Lifecycle Surveillance roadmap, with a particular focus on the technology roadmap for FY25 and beyond.
- The role has independent decision making to formulate the architectural solutions for a business requirement, subject to NAB's enterprise architectural patterns.
- The role must seek to align the existing technologies used with best practices, including Secure Code configuration, Infrastructure Hardening and best Privileges Access Maintenance hygiene practices.
What you will bring:
- Experience working with Kx software and the Q language
- At least 5 years of experience in a Markets and Regulatory background
- Experience in development or maintenance of trading platforms within an Enterprise
