Our client, a leader in the Mining industry, is seeking an experienced Principal Finance Business Partner to join their team based in their Perth Office.
This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension depending on the client requirements.
Roster: 5/2 4/3 Lifestyle roster
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with possibly extension depending on client requirements
Pay Rate: Dependant on experience
The Role
Demonstrate leadership capabilities combined with a high level of technical and financial competency.
Provide financial guidance and drive strong financial management across the OS organization.
Work collaboratively to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and other Finance Teams.
Understand and communicate the impact of operational decisions on financial outcomes.
Identify, advise, and evaluate productivity and value creation initiatives.
Make evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives.
Support the CAP cycle including Budget and Quarterly Forecast process.
Deliver insightful communication of financial recommendations.
Experience Required:
Experienced working within the mining industry.
Experienced degree qualified finance professional, or a technical/engineering specialise with strong commercial acumen and finance exposure.
Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Your strong engagement and influencing skills will ensure you are able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Independent, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to think outside the box and drive change.
Possess good understanding with commercial contracts is an advantage.
