An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-known and rapidly growing Australian meat processing facility. You will play a pivotal role helping shape continued growth across the business.
Position
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all aspects of finance including financial report creation, fostering strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and project financial modelling where required. You will assess budgets, track performance and identify risks and opportunities, providing meaningful insights to the business and creating value.
Profile
- CA or CPA Qualified preferred
- Minimum 5 Years Experience working for a busy and complex organisation
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, demonstrating a solid grasp of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Extensive experience in financial and management reporting and analysis
- Experience with dashboard reporting, financial modelling and BI tools
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Ensure organisational compliance and governance and promote adoption of best practice financial management practices
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts payable, receivable and general ledger activities
- Leadership and coaching of site finance team comprising accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and administration staff
- Monthly, adhoc and annual reporting and ensure the integrity and accuracy of all reporting requirements
- Lead the annual budget, budget revisions and forecasting process
- Understand underlying partnership business goals, key business drivers for financial performance with a focus on managing financial risk, costs optimisation, improving revenues and business performance.
- Transform data and information into pricing and costing insights for strategy and decision-making.
- Management of indirect tax processes such as BAS and FBT
- Use adaptive, agile processes to anticipate and respond to challenges, applying continuous improvement and applying guiding principles to align approach with strategic financial direction.
- Provide financial modelling for projects when required
- Foster and role-model a work environment that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes and knowledge sharing within the business unit.
- Influence senior management action, challenging assumptions where appropriate and highlighting risks and opportunities.
