Your future team
We are seeking a results-driven Principal Innovation Lead to join the CTO Strategic Initiatives team. As a key member of this dynamic and forward-thinking group, you will be responsible for driving the successful planning, execution and delivery of strategic programs in support of building a world-class engineering organization.
This is a remote position. To help our teams work together, this role requires you to be located in Australia.
The role
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of program management skills, leading new ideas and experiments, with a technical background and ability to understand Atlassian’s technical landscape, product code, and technical project processes. Has ability to build strong partnerships with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll do
Collaborate and lead a diverse set of cross-functional partners on a variety of program and business workstreams.
Become a trusted strategic partner through the structure and clarity of your work.
Build and lead global innovation programming.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of innovation events.
Create stable and sustainable programming across regions.
Technical support of our internal tooling and products used for innovation programming including Jira.
Your background
Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience across program management in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including experience with facilitating meetings and engaging with an executive audience).
Demonstrated experience and success leading high-impact, cross-functional programs or projects with a strong sense of urgency and commitment
Possesses flexibility and has a history of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous work environment.
Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done through taking calculated risks and experimenting with new solutions
