The role:
To ensure the maintenance of defined service levels for the Enterprise Integration Platform applications by providing customer focused service delivery management, high level specialist advice and support.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring a highly skilled team in accordance with the approved ITSM Change Management process.
• Ensuring compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure.
• Maintaining and managing effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure.
• Assist in the leading and mentoring of the team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.

Are you right for this role?
The successful candidate will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5)
• Demonstrated high level skills and experience in managing clinical and non-clinical applications and in the delivery of integrated enterprise applications in a large and complex service delivery environment. (SFIA: TECH Level 6)
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5)
• Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
