Address Randstad are currently working with an exciting higher education client to find a Principal Project Manager for an initial 6 Month Contract to work on an inflight recovery project. This role is based in Brisbane and allows for WFH flexibility. PLEASE NOTE: this is not a remote role, please only apply if based in Brisbane or planning on relocating. Key Activities:
Quick orientation to a highly complex inflight project, extracting key deliverables for a successful go live.
Engage with key business and technical groups, and external vendors, to analyse, understand and document their business, functional and data requirements in order to deliver strategic information systems projects.
Work with data integration specialists to ensure delivery of integrations, evaluate the quality of data delivered by corporate systems, and liaise with data stewards of upstream systems as required, including advice regarding data quality improvement initiatives.
Organise and lead project team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the optimum outcomes are achieved
Develop and embed the ITOM for the application as it transitions to Business as Usual.
Support the Project Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and supporting an effective system of project governance.
Manage and deliver the design and implementation of changes.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience supporting the senior leadership in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance and target operating model.
Significant experience in leading complex IT projects (from inflight delivery) in an agile project management environment.
Significant experience in coordinating technical change processes with complex integration requirements.
Significant experience in business requirements analysis and technical solution design.
