- Expand and retain a portfolio, focusing on a select number of high-value accounts to meet personal and team sales targets; supervise and mentor junior broking professionals supporting these accounts
- Maintain awareness of significant and potentially complex claims matters; assist claims personnel in negotiating fair claim settlements for clients
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of major insurance categories offered by the Company, staying current with new technical and product advancements
- Demonstrate a comprehensive working understanding of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation, and other relevant regulations
- Develop research strategies for account development, gathering detailed information about key decision makers, strategic business challenges, and priorities for personal and team use in expanding the portfolio
- Maintain a profound understanding of service team capabilities, making account delegation choices to address account ownership concerns, promote cross-functional collaboration, and assist members with at-risk accounts
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with insurers, clients, and diverse Marsh colleagues throughout Australia through regular communication and collaboration
- Support the Managing Principal in financial reporting and team budgets
- Engage in industry events, conferences, and client functions to build a robust professional network, stay closely connected to the relevant market, and represent Marsh effectively

- Essential Tier 1 FSRA Compliance; tertiary qualification beneficial but not obligatory
