Business Unit: Development Assessment
Title: Principal / Senior Planner, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $113678.04 to $132113.24 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)Full Private Use Vehicle on offer for successful applicant.

Key responsibilities:
The key focus areas of this role include:
- The ability to manage a number of complex developments simultaneously, and deliver timely, accurate and high quality assessments of development applications
- Representing Council in the NSW Land and Environment Court and at planning panels (Northern Beaches Local Planning Panel and Sydney North Planning Panel)
- Coaching and mentoring of planners as well as assisting the Manager with the day-to-day operation of the team
- Undertake a proactive role in the continuous improvement of systems, processes and tools used in the assessment of development applications
