About The Role:
The role will lead a team of investigators to:
- increase awareness and build knowledge across the community to ensure the correct amount of tax is paid and customers receive the grants they are entitled to.
- educate and provide clarity to taxpayers on what they need to do.
- ensure equity across the community by identifying taxpayers who are not paying the right amount of tax.
- interpret and apply legislation to conduct audits.
The role will also foster and build relationships within the department and externally.
