As the Principal Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cloud solutions to internal Application teams, based on customer requirements.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand their business requirements and identify and resolve technical issues with a focus on implementing desired business outcomes in a complex technological environment with competing priorities.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions built on Architectural best practices and well architected frameworks utilising DevOps tools and methodologies while assisting with the migration of existing on-premises systems and applications to Public Cloud.
- Interpret business requirements and translating those into functional, technical and non-functional specifications, as necessary.
- Influence and provide expert technical advice and leadership to technical operational, project teams and key decision makers relating to Cloud systems and solutions.
- Manage day-to-day Cloud operations through effective alerting and monitoring, triage, and timely remediation and ensure all Cloud systems maintain strong security compliance and availability.
- Educate team to implement based on best practices and provides hands-on technical support to accelerate Cloud learning among peers.
