The Finance department brings a commercial perspective to business decision making and supports the Royal Women's business performance by providing the appropriate financial and business information and advice, as well as driving the organisation's business risk management programAbout the roleAs a Private Patient Liaison you will be responsible for the effective administration of private, compensable and ineligible patients, and increasing revenue from chargeable patient activity by:
  • Providing the full Private Patient Liaison Officer and inpatient billing functionality
  • Assisting patients and staff with private pathway queries and claims processing
  • Facilitating training and education sessions for clinical and administrative staff to promote awareness around chargeable patients
  • Administrative tasks including updating data bases, running audit reports and eligibility checks

  • Experience in inpatient billing in the public health sector
  • Competency to interpret/analyse data and produce clear concise reports
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate and form relationships with patients and staff at all levels
