Novacina's Perth Site produces Oncology and other lifesaving medicines. Not only do these medicines help Australian patients and their families, but we also ship them to 98 countries around the globe.
The Perth Site is about to embark on a major capital investment program rolling out new manufacturing equipment and refurbishing existing assets.

You will have the responsibility to:
- Provide engineering support of Manufacturing Flow Teams to achieve operational performance goals & support the site’s objectives
- Provide support with verification of manufacturing equipment, systems & processes
- Ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with GMP, company policies & procedures, and WHS requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Track engineering & maintenance metrics and report performance to senior management
- Ensure that all engineering documentation and records are accurately maintained
To be successful you must possess:
- A degree in Engineering, Science or relevant Pharmaceutical experience.
- Minimum experience of 8 years in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record with safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Possess high attention to detail.
- An inquisitive and curious manner who is looking for opportunities for process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with a range of stakeholders to collaborate and influence others to ensure program deliverables are achieved.
- Strong communication, leadership skills, ability to manage outcomes.
- Be able to work closely with the cross functional team(s) to ensure production team needs are met.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving validation, engineering & operational performance goals.
- Ability to analyse data and make sound decisions based on the data.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies and WH&S requirements.
Further experience in any of the following areas will provide you with a distinct advantage:
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles
- Detailed understanding of aseptic manufacturing practices
- Experience with Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel and Autocad.
