THE ROLE
CSR have an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Engineer (Gyprock/Plasterboard) to provide leadership and support to our team in Yarraville, Victoria.
The main purpose of this role will be to provide Improvements to the Production Lines for the Gyprock, Cornice, Plasters & Acrylics Production teams. For this role, you will have an Engineering background and worked in a similar role.
Your role includes:
- Leading Lean initiatives and projects, including problem-solving and change management.
- Providing LEAN training and support to work area teams.
- Recognising achievements through Kaizen before and after documents and storyboards.
- Helping with capital expenditure justification and efficient commissioning of new equipment.
- Using Lean tools to streamline processes in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale & Environment.
- Tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of changes made.
- Supporting the site's Operational Improvement Programme (OIP) for cost reductions.
