Description
- Responsible for the day to day production requirements of the facility in a safe, reliable and efficient manner
- Preparing products for distribution to customers
- Organising products in designated areas
- Testing products in compliance with Australian Standards
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Receive and dispatch of products
- Forklift Operation
- General labouring, including manual handling and lifting of equipment
- General housekeeping of the yard
Profile
- Valid high risk forklift license or willing to get one
- Knowledge of dangerous goods is desirable but not essential
- Basic technical skills
- Strong safety focus
- Ability to manage tasks in a timely fashion whilst unsupervised
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure
