Permanent Process 2IC Technician Vacancy || Residential to Kalgoorlie || 7:7 even time roster Your new company Is a leading Australian gold mining company with a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and excellence. They operate multiple gold mines across Australia, and our Kalgoorlie site is a key asset in our portfolio. They are offering a permanent position for the right candidate on a 7:7 roster (Tuesday to Tuesday.) You must be residential to Kalgoorlie as you come home every night instead of staying on site. The bus transportation provided picks you up from your residence and drops you back there at the end of your 12hr shift. Your new role As the 2IC Process Technician, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for overseeing the operation of a 2-stage circuit, including SAG mills, thickener units, crushing, leaching, absorption and ball mills. Your key responsibilities will include leadership, team management and safety compliance. You will also be expected to perform in the following areas by:
Providing effective leadership to the processing team, ensure safety, productivity and efficiency
Monitor and optimise the mineral processing circuit to achieve production and targets
Communicate effectively with team member, manage work schedules and foster a positive work environment
Utilise your expertise in SAG mills, thickener operations and other processing equipment
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of five years of experience in gold processing, preferably in a leadership position
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Technical knowledge of the 2-stage crushing plant, as well as leaching, absorption, milling and floatation experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
A quick learner that adapts well to changing conditions
