About the role:
We are now seeking to employ an experienced Processing Maintenance Superintendent at our Koolan Island Operation on 12 days on / 9 days off (12-hour day) roster from Perth, Broome or Derby.
Reporting directly to the Processing Maintenance Manager, the primary focus of this role is the leadership of all Maintenance & Processing Supervisors, continuous and efficient processing of ore, ship loading, fixed plant maintenance and operations of the processing plant and ship loading facility.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
- Coordinating and overseeing the maintenance and processing supervisors, in their daily, weekly, and monthly activities, team and people management to deliver safe, efficient, and effective outcomes for the processing plant.
- Ensuring maintenance plan is executed as per plan and within targeted completion.
- Management of the maintenance team including the planners.
- On an ongoing basis, ensure that all staff are properly trained and supervised.
- Develop, establish, and maintain fixed plant maintenance procedures and work instruction (WM)
- Identifying and assisting with maintenance issues on plant.
- Scheduling of resources – personnel, equipment, and materials
- Technical input into the development or acquisition of new crushing, screening, and materials handling equipment and required processes.
- Trade qualification in a relevant field.
- 5 plus years’ experience in similar related role.
- Work Management leadership.
- Leadership qualification (Effective Supervision)
