This Government organisation is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join their team.
Within this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement department. Your responsibilities will include coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, and contract management.
- Maintain procurement records, track orders, and update inventory databases.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
- Prepare purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier relationships.
- Support the implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
