The Opportunity
We are excited to be in a growth stage of our business and expanding our team in Australia. If your passion is in line with Supply Chain/Logistics and possess experience in the same, then you are about to tap into a great opportunity to work in a global leader in Aviation.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract in a hybrid work environment.
Your new role
- Supporting Project teams for Order processing (Internal & Third Party) e.g. raise Purchase Orders
- Monitoring and management of purchase orders through to delivery; providing timely updates to project teams and internal stakeholders
- Liasing with Global Supply Chain (based in Europe)
- Processing material warranty claims
- Material Logistic/freight arrangement and support; communicating with shipping forwarders and arranging custom clearance
- Maintain, Order placement and monitoring of warehouse stock levels
- Support warehouse Storeperson in provision of Bill of materials and arranging warehouse stock orders; e.g. preparation of packings lists and delivery notes
- Manage and maintain project order goods receipting in SAP
- Solving any discrepancies between PO, goods receipt, and invoice receipt to achieve three-way-matching.
- Liaise effectively and work closely with Finance Department to ensure the accuracy of project costings and timely AP invoice processing.
You will bring
- 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role with background in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics
- Previous work experience in ERP systems or experience in SAP is highly advantageous
- Forklift license advantageous but not essential
- Effective, clear written & verbal communication skills is a must
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met timely
