The Opportunity:
Reporting to the National Procurement Manager, the Procurement Administrator will work closely with the property management, asset management, operations and legal teams to support procurement activities, coordinate supplier performance management, contract execution and reporting.
This is the ideal role for somebody looking to establish a career within the property development industry. Key attributes for the successful candidate will be strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, ability to interpret data, somebody responsive and adaptable to change and most importantly, an inquisitive nature and eagerness to learn. Training and mentoring on the job will be provided.
As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include:
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and handle procurement and contractor related queries
- Document processes for probity and adhere to procurement policies
- Assist in procurement activities like asset data collection and tender release
- Aid in contractor transitions and maintenance planning
- Work with service providers regarding maintenance plans for services
- Manage supplier performance and KPI reporting
- Support contract negotiations and execution with legal
- Generate reports, manage contracts register, and track expiry dates
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- Tertiary qualification in a related field highly regarded but not essential
- A current Australian drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative support / data input and interpretation role, property or procurement experience highly regarded but not essential
- Proficient with MS Office Suites with an ability to read and interpret data in Excel
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A positive attitude with a commitment to fostering a cohesive and inclusive team culture
