A dynamic State Government department is seeking an experiencedProcurement Advisor to contribute to the departments procurement reform agenda by developing, advising and implementing procurement legislation, training and guidance. The successful Procurement Advisor will be offered an initial contract to 30 June with the view to extend.
The successful Procurement Advisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Undertaking relevant research and analysis activities
- Contributing to the development of new policy objectives and facilitating policy evaluations
- Preparing documentation Minister, Cabinet and Senior executives
The successful Procurement Advisor will have experience in the following:
- Experience in the development of Ministerial or Cabinet briefings, policy, guidance documents, stakeholder communications and/or research papers
- Understanding of Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a face paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills
