An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Procurement & Contracts Manager to join a leading provider of care, support and accommodation services.What you'll do:As a Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process from start to finish. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining purchasing policies that are both effective and easily understood. Your role will also involve maintaining a detailed contracts database to ensure contract compliance. You will actively manage supplier performance, stepping in to assist with dispute resolution when necessary. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you identify opportunities for improvement within our sourcing processes. Additionally, you will provide crucial procurement support during formal selection processes.
- Develop, implement and ensure that purchasing policies and procedures are appropriate for the service areas and are understood and effective.
- Develop and maintain a purchasing system that ensures a reliable and easy-to-use process to source agreed goods and services.
- Develop and maintain a detailed contracts database ensuring contract compliance.
- Actively manage the performance of key suppliers and assist in dispute resolution where necessary.
- Undertake analysis and investigation to identify opportunities for improvements in sourced goods and services.
- Provide procurement support for services areas in formal selection processes as required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a large service delivery organisation.
- Highly developed negotiation skills with a focus on maintaining balanced vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical ability with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise responsibilities effectively while multi-tasking.
- Experience within the aged care, home care, retirement living or social housing industries is preferred.
