The Opportunity
We are looking for a Procurement and Contract Support Officer to join our Procurement Team. In this position you will be providing crucial support in Procurement and contracting activities to ensure alignment with our organisational compliance and goals.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting with the delivery of efficient, effective and compliant Procurement and contract management arrangements;
- Assisting with developing, implementing and maintaining the Shire’s Procurement and contract management framework;
- Assisting with coordinating tender and quotation processes;
- Assisting with auditing contract management for the organisation;
- Assisting with managing and reviewing the procurement for the Shire’s term contracts and pre-qualified supplier panel arrangements for the supply of operational goods and services;
- Participating in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of procurement policies and procedures and key performance indicators.
Business Administration Qualifications in procurement, business or commerce, and a current unrestricted WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence are essential for this role.

We are offering a remuneration inclusive of allowances and Superannuation of up to $95,000 (dependent on skills and experience) per annum.
