What's to love about the role
Reporting into the Technology Performance Manager, you will be critical in implementing continuous improvement activities and initiatives across the contract lifecycle. In addition, you will:
- Be instrumental in ensuring compliance, standardising overall processes and delivering value across strategic contracts;
- Engage and partner with the business to provide best practice advice driving overall performance;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Vendors, Project managers, and the ICT team across the breadth of the organisation; and
- Lead contract negotiations across both software and hardware and managing ongoing strategic supplier relationships and contract outcomes.
Our person
Your strength will be in procurement and contract management practices and the ability to drive a proactive business partnering approach. Ideally you will have had exposure to or a depth in ICT contracts that will lead to your ability to influence commercial outcomes. You will:
- Understand the full procurement and contract lifecycle, bringing end to end experience within a business of similar size and scope;
- Have a passion for procurement projects specialising in continuous improvement and influencing efficiencies and standardised processes;
- Demonstrate the ability to engage at all levels of a business through your excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills; and
- Be a pragmatic and innovative thinker with the ability to be both operational and strategic.
