Your new company
A new Federal Government Agency has been created to better prepare Australia for future disasters by leading national action and assistance across the emergency management continuum.
Your new role
In this role you will review and develop procurement and financial policy documentation.
This may, but is not limited to, the following:
Analyse existing procurement policy, templates and procedures, and engage with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement.
Advise on appropriate connected procurement policy and management mechanisms to monitor, co-ordinate and improve procurement activity and performance.
Partner with key business stakeholders to develop procurement and category management processes to meet business needs.
Make recommendations on draft policies and procedural changes, including producing a change management strategy to promote and implement policy changes.
Engage and advise key stakeholders on policies and procedural changes.
Coordinate and deliver, through multiple methods of communicating, the change to the policies and procedures of the Agency.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications pertaining to Procurement and/or Contract Management and/or Government and/or Policy in Procurement
Over a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Federal Government
Permanent status (or willing to go into a Non-Ongoing Contract with a Salary) within the Federal Government (or currently in a merit round at the EL1 level)
Baseline Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one
