The Company:Our client are a are prominent player in the energy industry, known for their commitment to excellence and innovation in the transmission of electricity across regions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing and category strategies to optimise procurement processes and outcomes.
- Focus on procuring subcontractors, ensuring the best value and performance
- Lead a stable and cohesive team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Support stakeholder meetings with effective communication and negotiation skills, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
- Manage and evaluate supplier performance, providing training and development where necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on subcontractor management in a construction or tier-one contractor environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the source-to-contract process, with proven experience in building and executing sourcing and category strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
