Our Procurement team are supplier engagement role models for the firm. We live our purpose and values, leverage our differences and expertise when it comes to developing and implementing sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management programs and driving supplier governance and reporting activities. We identify, mitigate and escalate commercial risks and align to the firm's social impact goals, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. We're looking for a Procurement Manager to develop and maintain key supplier relationships ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in procurement within professional services, consulting or a partnership environment with at least 7 years of experience. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. Day to day, you'll solve problems by developing and maintaining key internal relationships to ensure category planning appropriately addresses the businesses requirements. In our Procurement team, you'll also:
- Manage and deliver outcomes for the Human Capital (HC) and Travel categories.
- Have the opportunity to lead a team of procurement specialists to deliver across multiple categories / portfolio objectives which enable the business.
- Embed delivered transformation objectives within the procurement strategic sourcing team to support future business growth.
- Support the business with an increasing spend portfolio of approx. $500m across functional business categories including IT, HR, Travel, Facilities, Utilities, Marketing and other business services.
- Communicate strategies and recommendations to senior leaders within the business.
- Deliver against key measures including savings targets and Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") goals with a focus on addressing NetZero and our Reconciliation Action Plan objectives.
- Provide best practice procurement advice to the business.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement sourcing process for key internal clients including market analysis, RFx, Balance of Trade and supplier management where required and negotiating with suppliers throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Establish major supply agreements utilising best practice strategic sourcing principles to ensure the organisation leverages its overall purchasing power.
Other Relevant Skills Required
- You have a strong procurement background and may also have experience managing direct reports.
- Experience in end-to-end category management across multiple procurement portfolios.
- Excellent ability to manage, communicate with, and influence senior stakeholders.
- You are adept at flexing your commercial acumen across a range of categories and are skilled in negotiating with and managing a diverse set of suppliers.
- You will possess a strong understanding of how to develop and drive procurement strategies through businesses and the supply base.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- You have a risk mindset but are able to be pragmatic when navigating through chaos and ambiguity.
- Leadership and excellent ability to coach, mentor and drive career development for the team.
