As Procurement Manager you will join our finance department’s leadership team and work with key stakeholders to optimise procurement practices, drive sustainability initiatives, and support the overall growth of Suncare.
The opportunity is available on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements that include working at our Maroochydore office on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and from home.

Reporting to the CFO, you will:
- Formulate and implement the procurement business plan/ strategy in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer and other Executives, including leading the implementation of a new procurement system.
- Lead and mentor a small team of procurement and purchasing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment, to manage contracts and end to end procurement initiatives.
- Oversee contract administration, monitor supplier performance, and handle renewals and terminations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with the company's goals.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain a qualified supplier base to ensure high-quality goods and services are consistently delivered, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive sustainable procurement initiatives, promoting environmentally responsible practices throughout the supply chain.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in procurement operations.
- Maintain and manage procurement records in accordance with policies and procedures.
What you will bring to our team:
- Degree or higher qualification in Business or Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Significant experience in a similar role.
- High proficiency with Excel/MS Office.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and implementing green procurement strategies.
- Experience in the health or aged care industry is desirable but not essential.
