A dynamic Federal Government department is seeking multiple Procurement Officerto provide contract management, procurement, recruitment, and coordination to the branch. The successful Procurement Officer will be offered an initial contract to 30 October with the view to extended for a further 12 months.
The successful Procurement Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Manage recruitment activities for the Branch including non-ongoing and ongoing
- Manage procurement activities in accordance with PGPA Act 2013 using SAP for contractors and consultants as per the Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
- Lead, review and manage procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful Procurement Officerwill have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and expertise and knowledge in procurement and recruitment.
- Understanding of Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a face paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills
