Details: The School Cleaning Service is a dynamic, supportive team responsible for the delivery of school cleaning across all ACT Government schools.  This includes managing the school cleaning workforce (recruitment, contract management, rostering, procuring cleaning equipment and supplies, implementing site specific cleaning, coordinating cleaning for community hire of school facilities).

The role will include a variety of administrative requirements across School Cleaning Services, including within the people management team, rostering team procurement processes and financial management as well as across other administrative needs within School Cleaning Services to support business needs as directed.

School Cleaning Services are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to support a variety of procurement processes from inception through to finalisation.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Experience with ACT Government procurement processes and APIAs system highly desirable.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the Possibility of Permanency. A merit pool will be established for this selection process. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk. A mix of working from home and office-based work is expected for this position.
