Procurement Officer - Hr / Finance

Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.About the roleAs a Procurement Officer, you will provide level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information. In addition, your key duties are as follow:

• Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency in compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines
• Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs
• Drafting correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
• Preparing a range of procurement related documentation
• Entering, extracting, and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting

About youTo be successful in this role, you must have:

• Understanding of procurement or recruitment processes
• Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems
• Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
• Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast paced environment
• Understanding or lived experience of disability is highly desirable

• $55.24 per hour + super
