Job description:

NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and DT Infrastructure, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link) as part of METRONET.

We are currently hiring a Procurement Officer to maintain, utilise and contribute to the development of business procurement systems in line with the objectives of the Thornlie-Cockburn Link project.

• Previous experience in procurement, tendering or contracts administration role
• Experience in the Construction Industry
• Exceptional contract negotiation and communication skills
• Understanding of contract and trade practices law, as well as competitive tendering policies
• Ability to follow and implement company policy and procedures
• Experience dealing with and processing confidential information

• Prepare, issue and evaluate tenders and quotes for a range of goods and services
• Negotiate contract arrangements with tenderers to ensure best value is achieved
• Establish and rationalize agreements with key suppliers and subcontractors
• Establish, monitor and maintain effective contract and supplier databases
• Provide accurate, comprehensive and timely reports to management
• Continuously seek ways to improve efficiencies and value for money
