We’re seeking talented procurement specialists to join our team.
There are currently 2 permanent positions and 1 fixed term position available for immediate filling.

About the Department

The program defines best practice standards by creating a carer friendly workplace, enabling staff to balance work and care, while continuing to contribute to the wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community.

About the roles

Opportunities exist in our procurement teams at our Walyalup (Fremantle) campus. See attached job description forms (JDFs) for detailed role descriptions.

Applicants assessed as suitable may receive appointments for these or similar future vacancies that arise within the next 6 months across the Department of Communities.

Senior Procurement Officers (Commissioning and Contracting): This role provides expert procurement guidance, fosters best practices, collaborates with stakeholders, and ensures compliance for various procurement activities with the Department to achieve optimal value for funding outcomes.

Senior Procurement Officers in the Grants Team: This Senior Procurement role in the Grants Team facilitates medium to high-risk community services grants programs, including development of Grant Guidelines, facilitation of evaluation meetings, Evaluation Reporting, development of Grant Agreements, administration of grant payments, grant reporting and acquittal requirements.
