The Role & The Team
- Manage and maintain the procure-to-pay processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, as well as managing a team supporting procurement technology and related programs.
- Work collaboratively with the business to support the efficient and effective delivery the procure to pay processes.
- Develop and deliver enhanced capability, through the provision of training, across the organisation on the utilisation of digital procurement platforms.
- Lead the provision of expert first line, functional and technical support, for end users across for procurement to pay and source to manage Ariba system, to supports our business in orders being placed and suppliers being paid in a timely manner.
- Responsible for managing the team supporting purchasing activities and maintaining databases, documenting and communicating evolving policies.
- Responsible for identifying, advocating and driving improvement opportunities across P2P and procurement processes and systems, leveraging analysis and insights from business and leading practices.
- Identify and support improvements to the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier onboarding, contracting and purchase order management.
- Support business development teams, procurement team, contract manager and legal counsel in ushering contracts through the purchasing workflows
- Maintain an effective working relationship with other Airservices staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives.
- Actively engage in stakeholder management, through effective and regular communication to promote increased engagement.

The Person
- Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP ECC is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with broader Procurement frameworks and policy within sourcing, contract, and supplier management. Ensuring that these activities meet respective social and environment objectives.
- Demonstrable strength in the delivery of Change, Communications and Learning activities is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of working within a legislative policy environment, preferably with experience in the education or Public Sector
- Experience in developing high performance teams involving multiple disciplines.
- Sound understanding of budgetary, cost control, performance measurement activities.
- Tertiary qualifications or solid experience in a leadership role in strategic and operational purchasing disciplines.
