Troy Animal Healthcare was established in 1958, and we manufacture for both domestic and international markets. With a commitment to quality, we are embarking on a business transformation project designed to drive business performance and efficiencies. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this newly created Procurement Specialist role has been identified as crucial to the success of this project.
About the role
- Strategic Sourcing including E2E management of the RF(x) process.
- Supplier Performance and Relationship management.
- Establishing Category Plans and risk reduction strategies.
- Continuity of Supply to align with inventory and financial targets.
- Quality Focus in a GMP environment.
- Evaluate quality of raw materials compared to established standards and maintain Supplier Qualification
- Category planning and financial management
What we are looking for
- 5+ years strategic procurement experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Food.
- Experience in designing or implementing a Supplier Relationship Management program.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organisation and build strong working partnerships with all stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills - transform data to information.
- Superior negotiation and communication skills across all levels of business
- Strong commercial acumen to understand legal jargon and numbers.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Specifically Excel) or Power BI
- ERP system knowledge - SAP Business One would be an advantage.
