Procurement Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DOYou will support the strategic sourcing team & report on data indicators for validation and opportunity generation. You will also support enquiries from internal customers for goods & services in the management and construction of projects & jobs at Ampcontrol. This role will interact with key personnel from all Ampcontrol sites in a cross-functional capacity and support the implementation strategy of Category Management.

 Within this role, you will perform market research; development of processes, policy and procedures; and Supplier reviews. Together with the cross-functional team members, you will achieve synergies and process improvements with a focus on cost savings. Some travel to other Ampcontrol sites and customer / supplier locations may be a requirement of this role.

Technical competencies and skills (Including required license's & certificates)       Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office applications       Supply Chain/Procurement expertise at a tactical and strategic level       A high level of understanding of key business and industry success drivers       Financial capability (modelling, analysis and reporting)Relevant Experience        Demonstrated experience in procurement, planning, logistics and inventory        Business Analytical skills & Business Acumen       Possess an ongoing focus on continuous improvement and supply chain optimisation        Strong stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with business units        Demonstrated experience in resolving problems        Well organised with strong time management skills to meet deadlines        Demonstrated ability to deliver improvements in project execution…
