Join our client’s dynamic team as Procurement Support Officer, working closely with the Procurement Lead to assist in the successful delivery of procurements being undertaken for the Agency’s large modernisation program.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Drafting procedural, governance and procurement documentation (with minimal direction);
- Supporting tender evaluation processes and managing procurement schedules;
- Performing contract management duties including administrative tasks such as invoicing and scheduling vendor management meetings;
- Monitoring compliance and producing procurement reports as required
- Performing quality assurance on procedural, governance and procurement documentation
- Providing advice and guidance on procurement and contract management to internal stakeholders; and
- Communicating using professional judgement, evaluating risks in the context of a complex and changing environment.
- Comprehensive experience with and understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and all relevant additional procurement related policies and legislation;
- Demonstrated experience conducting complex end-to-end procurement activities including contract management;
- Demonstrated experience drafting complex procurement documentation including but not limited to: RFT documentation, draft contracts, statements of requirement and complex response schedules;
- Knowledge and experience in successfully managing risk, including the development of comprehensive risk assessments;
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and navigate complex stakeholder relationships including negotiations; and
- Demonstrated personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and budget parameters.

Contract term:
Until 30 June 2024 with a 12 month extension option.
Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current Baseline Security Clearance.
