Address- Leverage your Banking Product knowledge within Consumer Deposits
- 6-month secondment role based in Brisbane.
Suncorp are seeking a first class Product Advisor to join our Consumer Deposits team in Everyday Banking. The successful candidate will be accountable for the consumer transaction, savings and term deposit products. In this role you will value proposition extensions and enhancements; deliver enhanced customer value; achieve financial outcomes and growth needs (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss) to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of our customers whilst strictly maintaining compliance and regulatory obligations.
What you’ll do
- Develop, monitor and maintain product and pricing strategies to achieve our financial and growth objectives.
- Implement continuous improvements to enhance the value proposition and delivery of
- Consumer Deposit products whilst addressing customer pain points.
- Identify, investigate and define product and market trends for the products through research & data interrogation.
- Lead the design of a customer value proposition to support other Bank and Group objectives which will assist in deepening our customer relationships.
- Head the design / maintenance of cost-effective distribution channels enabling the majority of customers to engage with us when it suits them in their preferred manner.
- Lead programs to maximise product profitability for the broader suite of consumer deposits products; strategies, which will retain, attract & grow the number of MFI customers holding other Group product.
- Design and implement efficient, simple and streamlined products ensuring all Regulatory, Legal, Risk and Compliance requirements are always observed.
- Maintain active ownership of the systems, processes and collateral required to distribute, service and maintain Consumer Deposit products design and product migration.
- Leverage data and analytical capabilities across the Bank and the Group to build an increasingly greater understanding of customer behavior. This will drive the development of broader propositions focused on delivering enhanced customer value.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary Qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable.
- Preference for 5 years’ experience in a product or financial management environment.
- Demonstrated experience in roles requiring high levels of strategic thinking / planning, analytical skills stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- Experience in delivery of projects.
- Able to work with new concepts that when implemented extend competitive advantage.
- Sound understanding of the business, economy and external environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present at a senior level.
