The incumbent of this role is responsible for
- Actively supporting the NPD Engineer to Mould designs by producing SolidWorks models
- Fabrications of drawings and Continuous support during fabrication with additional details
- Mechanical and Materials Engineering Design support to New Product Design and Process Improvement and Changes
- Drive Work (DW) development support and Further development of the programme while supporting with maintenance.
- Working with the Product Development Engineer to support NDP projects with, product design, product drawings, mechanical arrangements and coordinate and support the product launch process.
What we need from you
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience
- Competent in FEA and knowledge of concrete structure design and composite materials
- Computer competency with 3D CAD programs with Solid Works
- Highly competent user of Microsoft Office suite of products (emphasis on experience at intermediate level in Excel)
- Drive Work experience preferable
- Efficient and effective planning and time management skills to achieve all objectives within defined time frames.
- Ability to work as directed and effectively manages multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrate experience and understanding of pre-cast concrete production /manufacturing practices.
- Ability to quickly comprehend Product Development requirements with compressed lead times whereby all customer and production needs are addressed with all legislative and safety compliance incorporated.
