With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Las Vegas (USA) and Shenzhen (China), BSV have completed over 1500 projects across 4 countries.

BSV work with several industries including sport, education, hospitality, retail, transit and out of home media. Our projects can be found at iconic venues such as the MCG, Movie World, Crown Casino, UTS Sydney and The Gabba.

About the Role

In this newly created position, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Product Innovation Manager will work closely with the Product Solutions team to meet technical requirements of the business and lead Product Innovation in research and development. The Product Innovation Manager will be responsible for translating a design vision into a feasible and effective technical solution by researching, designing, testing, initiating, facilitating, and translating new product solution opportunities. Leading charge in identifying and capitalising on exciting new LED screen solution opportunities, driving long-term value through innovation and cutting-edge technical advances.

Position Deliverables:

  • Champion new opportunities by developing robust new product solutions and overseeing the successful implementation.
  • Design, prototype, develop and test new product features and initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Transform concepts into practical design solutions by testing, correcting, and optimising product solutions to ensure it meets the quality standards and client expectations.
  • Lead the development of BSV’s innovation strategy ensuring alignment with the commercial plan.
  • Conduct research to gather insights and collaborate with stakeholders to understand emerging trends and user needs.
  • Utilise CAD to create technical drawings for product design and development to communicate concepts effectively and translate them into practical designs.
  • Working knowledge of programming and coding
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners for successful production implementation.
  • Ensure innovation solutions seamlessly integrate with the overall vision.
  • Own and drive continuous improvement in innovative technical solutions, aligned to customer needs and business requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a product design environment, preferably in electronics.
  • Proficient in CAD software
  • White Card
